Finally, after a month the servers are now back on and Exploring Rurality is online yet again!
Our sudden disappearance was caused by a hacker attack on one of the servers of Brandon University in Canada. Brandon U is one of the partner institutions of ICRPS, and they have been so kind as to let us have both the ICRPS website and this blog on their server. They even helped us set up this blog!
The hacker stole sensitive information about some of Brandon U´s students, and after the University found out, they decided to take down all its servers as a safety precaution.
We´re sure Brandon has regained control over it´s servers and student information, and are very glad to be switched back on!
