The Transportation Research Board in the United States is a great source for information on rural transportation topics. The organization has recently published three toolkits which may be of interest to those for those within the study or application of rural transportation:

• Data Needs for Assessing Rural Transit Needs, Benefits, and Levels of Service
• A Toolkit for Reporting Rural and Specialized Transit Data–Making Transit Count
• Organizing Transit in Small Urban and Rural Communities
